2025 Kitchen Tile Trends

These are the kitchen tile trends that are set to grow in 2025, from traditional patterns to retro handmde looks.
The trend for warmer tones is set to continue with whites and greys being replaced with more natural and earthy tones.
Soft shades inspired by natural materials like rich browns, terracotta and sand are replacing cooler tones, bringing warmth and encouraging an organic feel to kitchens.
We’re also seeing a renewed appreciation for deep, earthy tones and materials with rich textures, highlighted through the popularity of some of our latest collections including Bali, Oxid, City Plaster, Raku and Fuji.

Browns In!
2025 will see the reinvention of brown tones, which can be seen in the Pantone colour of the year, 'Mocha Mousse'. We are expecting to see a lot more of it in kitchens in splashbacks and matching tones of paler brown timber-look tiles. In anticipation we have a huge range of options in dark, mid and lighter hues of brown in plain and textured formats.
For lighter hues, check out Sensi Roma, Mediterranea and Signature Stone in standard and large formats to old-country, french pattern formats of In Falda and Jerusalem Stone.
This trend is all about embracing calming and relaxing neutral tones in your home which help to create a warm and relaxing ambiance.

Patterned Tiles
Patterned designs for kitchens have been making a comeback, a trend we will continue to see in 2025. Look to designs that timelessly add pattern and texture for an enduring scheme.
Think Hydraulic and Geometric patterns like our Carino, Sylvania Loft and St Germain which bring a sense of movement and energy to a space. Hydraulic tiles are known for their fun designs and geometric patterns and come in a wide range of colours and styles, from classic blues and greens to bright and modern tones. Hydraulic tiles can give a space a retro or vintage feel and are perfect as accent pieces on kitchen splash backs. Alternatively, these ranges are also perfect for fully-tiled floors if you’re looking for a bold and original design!
We also expect to see decorator ranges such as Lume, Bali, and Mallorca used in fresh and playful layouts like vertical stacking, zigzags, and diagonal patterns.

Handmade look
For those looking for handmade take on tile, look no further than Bali, Raku, Zellige and Lume. What these ranges have in common is the handmade look resulting in perfectly imperfect, one-of-a-kind tiles where no two tiles are exactly the same. The beauty of these tiles comes from their unevenness and subtle colour variations that embrace imperfections resulting in a unique design ideal for walls and backsplashes.

On Trend for Kitchen flooring in 2025...
Timber-look
Wood has never really gone out of style and our wood-look tiles lend themselves perfectly to high traffic areas in the home such as kitchens and living spaces. Offering the ambiance of warm, gentle tones. From on-trend parquet-style flooring to modern, minimal-style planks, realistic wood-effect tiles will continue to dominate our interiors throughout 2025.
Exposed timber has always been a great way to bring texture into a kitchen – but Jayne observes that people are also starting to think of woody tones as part of the overall colour scheme.
When you’re using very bold, contemporary paint colours, then balancing that with some pieces in the natural, understated colours of oaks and other timbers provides the kitchen with that timeless quality. Timber makes a kitchen fashion-proof.
French Country
On-trend French country patterning with travertine and latte tones. We have two very popular modular styles, In Falda and Jerusalem Stone. Both are inspired by the cloudy characteristics of tumbled Roman cross-cut Travertine and re-interpret the natural stone's classic and refined features but with all the advances of Italian porcelain. With a unique moulded surface combined with the distinct travertine colouring, all the aesthetics of a realistic tumbled finish are achieved.
Large Format Tiles
Large format tiles in warm colourways will also dominate in kitchen flooring in 2025. The creation of seamless flow to the absence of grout joints is making this an increasingly attractive option for home owners.
New popular sizes are 1000x1000mm, 800x800mm, 900x900mm, 1200X2400mm, 600x1200mm, and 450x900mm however larger slabs of up to 3000mm are making an appearance and proving popular for all living areas throughout the home.
