Good Health is something on the minds of all New Zealander's at this time. The last few months for many of us has been about creating work/life balance, nourishing ourselves and those we love in our bubbles with good food and love and a rewarding glass of good red at the end of the day.

Interestingly, research shows that the influence of the colour red in our clothing choices and living spaces positively influences evaluative processes and psychological, emotional, and cognitive decision-making. This is known as the “red effect” - increasing motivation, good decision making as well as positive perception.
In the Kitchen...warmer colours such as red are believed to stimulate the appetite and are an excellent option for kitchens. Red is incredibly versatile and there are multiple shades that would really pop in a kitchen, from rich oranges to blood red. Whether you opt for a full red tile or a mosaic feature, there are many ways to incorporate this fabulous, full of life, colour in your living spaces.
In the Bathroom... Bathrooms should be one of those places that you can luxuriate in for a few hours without feeling guilty. No other colour gives a sense of opulent luxury in the same way that red does. Try introducing some deep red to bring a touch of glamour to bathrooms & ensuites.
