Sample Ordering

Kiwi’s have embraced e-commerce as their primary way of shopping, particularly post Covid years. It’s convenient and a time saver plus oftentimes it opens up a wider range of choices that you might not have seen in-store if you’ve visited. However purchasing products for your home when you’re renovating or building is better done once decisions have been made on colour, texture and best use.

For this reason, we offer tile samples, if they’re available, as below;

The Importance of Samples

Samples are an important part of the design and product selection process whedn choosing floor and wall finishes. When selecting tiles for your home or office space, it is essential to get samples first to ensure the final product is suitable for the area. It’s not just colour choices you have to consider, but texture, weight and patterns. You need to see the sample in your space before finally making the decision.

The Process:

1.      Choose up to 5 Tile Samples for only $15 sent directly to your home or office.

2.      Your $15+gst is refundable upon purchase from any of our stores.

3.      Samples sent are cut down from original tile size to approximately 100mm x 100mm.

4.      We send these samples to you packaged with a courier. Expect to receive these 7-10 working days after your order is received. If you require samples earlier, we welcome you to visit one of our 33 locations to collect directly.

5.      Once you receive the samples, you can check the surface, colour and style of the tile(s) to ensure the perfect selection. It’s important to note that as tiles are a natural fired product, variation and shade differences can and will occur. This is a feature of tiles and gives them their natural appearance.

6.      Now it’s time to make your selection!  Once you’ve made a decision, place your order either in-store or online and the cost of your sample order will be deducted from your purchase price.
