This Remuera retreat received the finishing touches of a kitchen redesign by Andrea Burney, who focused on modernising the space while maintaining harmony with the home’s existing style.

A modern twist on traditional shaker cabinetry creates a neutral, light, and airy backdrop, allowing the rich timber grain units to take centre stage. These are complemented by elegant Archant knobs, setting the tone for the home.

Designed for both beauty and efficiency, the kitchen features a well-planned nook, an on-bench appliance unit and carefully curated materials including the muted gloss Zellige tiles by Tile Warehouse. The result is a contemporary yet inviting kitchen that effortlessly blends functionality with sophisticated design.
